We Offer 3 Treatment Types

Chemical treatments that are conducted thoroughly and correctly by a licensed pest management professional can be a very effective way of controlling bed bugs. It does however involve multiple visits to fully eliminate the infestation.

Thermal Remediation (Heat) Treatments use specialized equipment to raise the temperature inside your residence to over 130°F.  When both the optimal temperature and the specified length of time at said optimal temperature are reached all stages of life, including eggs, die.

Fumigation is the introduction of an inorganic gas called sulfuryl fluoride, also known as Vikane® by Douglas Products. It is pumped into an enclosed sealed space. In a controlled environment, the gas replaces the oxygen, causing bed bugs and their eggs to suffocate and die. We can fumigate entire structures such as homes, buildings, or even moving trucks and vans.

Where are bed bugs found and how do I avoid them?

Favorite spots are along the seams of mattresses or box springs, behind headboards, or in other small, dark spaces.

To avoid bed bugs, check your hotel room before unpacking, especially along the seam of the mattress, between the mattress and box spring, and in cracked wallpaper near bed and furniture crevices.

Never put your suitcase on the floor, and if you are thinking about using the luggage rack in the room, check it thoroughly.

Once home, wash or dry clean your items immediately and check your suitcase for any signs that you have brought the bugs back with you.

How bad is the bed bug problem?

Bed Bugs are making a huge comeback.  Unfortunately, 1 in 5 Americans have had a bed bug infestation in their home or knows of someone who has encountered bed bugs at home or in a hotel.
